Frank Centofante, in collaboration with Julie Warenski, crafted the Tail Lock Engraved Folder, a testament to his mastery in locking back folders until his death in 2009. A prominent figure, Frank dedicated nearly two decades to the Knifemakers Guild's board, presiding as president for about ten years, and was honored in The Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame in 1997.
The knife features a Wharncliffe blade with a tail lock mechanism; pressing the end of the rear bolster on the presentation side disengages the blade.
It boasts exhibition-grade gold lip mother of pearl scales and bolsters, both front and rear, adorned with scrollwork and 18-carat gold dots by the renowned engraver Julie Warenski from Utah.
