Dual position "Rotating Head" all purpose ENTRY TOOL/RESCUE midtech axe. The handle is 6061 Aluminum, TYPE 3 HARD ANODIZED BLACK MATTE FINISH. Handle length is 15". 316 Stainless fasteners- the axe can be adjusted to be used as a leverage tool (straight out). The axe head is made from "CRUCIBLE S7" SHOCK/IMPACT RESISTANT AIR HARDENING TOOL STEEL. RC55-57, flat ground. Coating is Premium IonBond (Bodycote) Black DLC. Axe head thickness is .250 (1/4"). Head width is 8" from the spike to the edge. There is a Kydex edge cover sheath to cover and protect the edge/cutting surface of the Axe.
Total Cutting edge is 4 3/4" incorporating primary edge (2 1/4") and secondary edge (2 1/2").
